The emphasis on the heritage value for the society based on the concept of utilization of the full potential of the cultural & historical heritage (CHH) and to transform it to be part of a working economy is a unique combination. A combination that can have huge impact not only for the local communities & region but also nation-wide. As such initiatives are very new and necessary for fostering learning about and through CHH and its positive utilization about the local & national cultural & historical identity and its part in forming the diverse identity of our common EU family. As only though acknowledging that local heritage is also partof EU heritage, the European idea & unity can survive.
